Quiz: This may make you appreciate honey bees a bit
more:
Since one worker bee can gather 1/12 of a teaspoon of honey in
her lifetime, how many bees would be necessary to gather 1
pint of honey? Hint: (3 teaspoons = 1 tablespoon, 16
tablespoons = 1 cup, 2 cups = 1 pint). Answer can be found
below.
We offer strained, unfiltered and non-pasturized natural pure
raw honey. The honey has a dark amber color with a more
robust, full bodied natural flavor. This honey is produced
from nectar gathered from April to September. It's richer
color and deeper flavor reflect the rich colors of spring and
summer. There are a variety of sizes available to meet many
different needs.

We are a
small farm with several hives on our own property which
is located in a rural area above the Clinch River in East
Tennessee Valley. There are no commercial properties or
agricultural chemicals used within our nectar collection area.
We do not heat our honey because raising it above 115 degrees
destroys the antioxidants, important enzymes, vitamins and
other beneficial attributes. Also many people find that heated
honey looses much of its natural aroma and flavor.
If interested, let us know and we'll provide you a
home delivery of Tennessee’s finest pure, raw honey.
