2007 Honey

Spring & Summer Mix Pure Wildflower Honey

The Lord has blessed us with healthy happy bees and bountiful honey crops as well as his continual watch care and protection on each of our lives.  To God be the glory for great things hath he done! My son, eat thou honey, because it is good and the honeycomb which is sweet to thy taste. PROVERBS 24:13

Quiz: This may make you appreciate honey bees a bit more:
Since one worker bee can gather 1/12 of a teaspoon of honey in her lifetime, how many bees would be necessary to gather 1 pint of honey? Hint: (3 teaspoons = 1 tablespoon, 16 tablespoons = 1 cup, 2 cups = 1 pint). Answer can be found below.

We offer strained, unfiltered and non-pasturized natural pure raw honey. The honey has a dark amber color with a more robust, full bodied natural flavor.  This honey is produced from nectar gathered from April to September.  It's richer color and deeper flavor reflect the rich colors of spring and summer.  There are a variety of sizes available to meet many different needs.

Quart (3lb) - $12
Pint (2lb)    - $ 6
Honey Bear (16oz) - $ 5
Honey Bear (8oz)   - $ 3
Honey Comb (5oz)   - $ 2.50  (sample size)

Actual shipping charges by UPS ground or other service as requested. Payment can be via Check, Money Order or Paypal .

We are a small hobby farm with several hives on our own property which is located in a rural area above the Clinch River in East Tennessee Valley. There are no commercial properties or agricultural chemicals used within our nectar collection area. We do not heat our honey because raising it above 115 degrees destroys the antioxidants, important enzymes, vitamins and other beneficial attributes. Also many people find that heated honey looses much of its natural aroma and flavor.

If interested, let us know and we'll provide you a home delivery of Tennessee’s finest pure, raw honey.

Quiz Answer:
12 bees to make 1 teaspoon x 3 = 36 bees to make 1 tablespoon of honey
36 x 16 = 576 bees to make 1 cup of honey
576 x 2 = 1,152 bees to make 1 pint of honey
